Wendy Williams is out to prove that she is a BOSS!  The talk show diva is taking her career to the next level by forming her own production company, inking development deals and getting her talk show renewed.  Go Wendy!

According to The Hollywood Reporter:

Wendy Williams and her husband, manager Kevin Hunter, have formed Wendy Williams Productions, a production company focused on nonfiction.

WWP will develop and produce reality, game and talk shows for cable and broadcast, with Williams serving as executive producer on the projects. She also might have an on-camera presence. Williams and Hunter are EPs of the nationally syndicated talker The Wendy Williams Show.

“This is a dream come true,” Williams said. “Kevin and I have been kicking around so many ideas and are excited to be able to now bring them to life with our own production shingle. As anyone who watches my show knows, I am a huge fan of all reality and game shows, and I know a thing or two about talk.”

*One day after the announcement of her new production company specializing in reality television, talk show host Wendy Williams has inked a first-look development deal with cable network Oxygen.

As part of the pact, Williams will appear as a guest judge on Naomi Campbell’s modeling reality series “The Face,” and serve as an executive producer on “Secret Celebrity,” which features stars in disguise as they surprise unsuspecting fans, friends and family.

Additionally, Williams and her newly formed production company will develop and produce original fare for the network.

Of course with all of these amazing things happening for Wendy, we can’t forget that her talk show has been renewed for 2 more seasons!  Starting this September, her show will get a new set and “Hot Topics” will get a bit of a re-model as well.

Williams also says the “Hot Topics” segment — a “fan favorite” in which she delivers her take on the day’s biggest headlines — will be expanded from about 10-12 minutes to “a good 18 minutes.”

“And that’s before we even go to commercial,” she says. “We get a lot of ground covered in that time.”

While Williams prefers to keep the guests and topics for the show’s premiere week under wraps for now, she did say that viewers “are going to be happy,” adding that her favorite segment topics include fashion and cooking.
