Smokey Robinson Talks Obama, Poetry, & The Miracles & Sings His First Songs: Watch It Here!
CNikky sat down with the one and only Smokey Robinson for a conversation about his latest venture…Poetry! The legendary singer and song-writer who has been inducted into the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame…twice, decided to put together a show showcasing nothing but his poetry, called WORDS. The handsome and charming Mr. Robinson is already considered one of the best poets of all time because he wrote some of the greateat hits of all time including: “Who’s Loving You” – Jackson 5 and My Girl – Temptations as well as his own hits: “Tracks of My Tears,” and “Cruisin” to name a few.
Cherise Nicole surprised Smokey by singing a duet with him of the first record he ever recorded with his former group, The Miracles. The song was called “I Got A Job,” and it brought them to the subject of the recession America is currently battling and how he feels about President Obama.
