Love, Love, Love! Don’t believe the hype! Young African Americans are Owning the boardroom and doing big and positive things in business and the community! There are so many gorgeous black women and men that are creating opportunities for themselves and opening doors for others. Recently The Network Journal decided to honor some of these men and women for their outstanding work in their respective fields during the 15th Annual Top 40 Under 40 Awards at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in New York. We all know the faces of celebrities, but these are the people you NEED to know! They handle the business behind the scenes, make decisions and write the checks. Agency Owners, studio executives, publicist , retail executives and brand executives among others. The room was full of icons in the making and CNikky would like to acknowledge their work and congratulate them!
The dinner honored professionals from companies including L’Oreal (Aida Moudachirou- Rebois), Bloomingdale’s (Nicole Cokley) General Motors (Brooke Ellis), NBC Universal (Sharita Brantley) and the 135th Street Agency (Shante Bacon), and was hosted by former NY Giants/2003 Super Bowl XXXVII Champion (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) Roman Oben and Karen Nethersole, ESQ., CEO of Full Circle NY.
Our friend, the stunning Shante Bacon was among the recipients. Ms. Bacon, like most of the honorees created her own destiny, opened her own agency and is building an empire that will not only affect her life, but the lives of others for generations to come. This is an example of a #RealRoleModel. Werk!
