What is really going on down in Atlanta? Many of us have been watching former Miss USA, Kenya Moore practically beg Walter Jackson to marry her and get her pregnant during this season of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. It has remained obvious that he is not the least bit interested in marrying her, or being in a relationship with her for that matter. Now, he has come forward admitting that their relationship was fake and Kenya is firing back! The problem is…most of us believe Walter.
Walter went on an Atlanta radio station (Wanda and Frank Ski) and revealed his truth about their relationship:
When questioned about how he knew Kenya, Walter explained that he and Kenya used to be an item for a brief period of time a few year back.
“We dated about three years ago,” he told Frank Ski. “We dated for about three months near the Dallas All-Star [weekend].”
Walter explained that their short-lived love affair was mostly long-distance. Even on the nights that he would sleep over, they mostly slept in separate rooms. Thing between them sort of fizzled out after a while. Although Walter acknowledges that they would text from time to time, they didn’t see each other again until Kenya was cast for “RHOA.”
That’s when she came to him with a proposition.
“She said, ‘Well, what if you play my boyfriend on the show?'” Walter recalled. “I had to think about it.” The transportation executive revealed that he wasn’t really sure what to do at first, so he consulted a few of his guy friends to get their opinions. “Everybody was like, ‘Hey man, get your 15 minutes of fame,'” Walter shared.
“She told me it’s like acting. So I said, ‘Okay! I can act. No problem,'” he added, noting that he’s something of a socialite. He also argued that people weren’t really accustomed to seeing him and Kenya around Atlanta, which Frank backed up. “Nobody here in Atlanta has seen me out with Kenya [at] any events.”
“On the show, I didn’t have any idea that she’s telling the producers and everybody [that we’re getting married],” Walter revealed. “This ain’t what I signed up for.”
Kenya sent a statement to Wendy Williams today and Wendy read it on air (and then said she didn’t believe a word of it). Read the statement below:
“The truth is and has always been that I want to be in a loving, honest, long-term relationship with someone who genuinely loves me for me — Walter’s recent statements are completely false. I am embarrassed that I allowed a deceitful and hateful person in my life.
He says he ‘did it for fame.’ I’ve been humiliated enough by appearing desperate for a man to marry me who now admits he had his own agenda. I urge viewers to stay tuned because the truth will come to light. I am moving on from this situation and hope he can as well with respect and dignity going forward. I have heard the fans and my friends loud and clear … I can do better than Walter, and I will.”
To add insult to injury, Walter has been spotted around Atlanta with a new girl, aspiring singer Christon Ingram. The two have been photographed together several times. But, many folks around Atlanta say that Walter doesn’t like women at all….Who knows what’s really going on? What do you believe?
I know the execs at Bravo are too mad about this!
