New Re-Make Movie: RED DAWN Starring Chris Hemsworth, Connor Cruise & Josh Hutcherson

Red Dawn, based on the 1984 film of the same name, tells the story of a city in Washington state that suddenly finds itself under attack by a foreign enemy and a group of young patriots determined to fight back. The film, directed by Dan Bradley, stars Chris Hemsworth, Isabel Lucas, Josh Hutcherson and a new face, Connor Cruise.  Yes, that’s young Connor Cruise, the son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

Chris Hemsworth (Thor, Avengers, Snow White & The Hunstman) plays the lead role of Jed, made famous in the original Red Dawn by the late Patrick Swayze.  The original cast also had Charlie Sheen, Lea Thompson, C. Thomas Howell and Jennifer Grey.  All who went on to have successful film careers.  That’s a good sign for Hemsworth, Hutcherson and the newbie Connor Cruise!

RED DAWN is set for US release on November 21.  Looks like a good re-make, will you be watching?
