Cue the Oscar Nominations…..Now.  Welcome Back Bill Murray!  We missed you!  Bill Murray as FDR! Need we say more?  Hyde Park On The Hudson, which depicts England’s King George VI spending a weekend at President Roosevelt’s estate in upstate New York, stars Olivia Williams as Eleanor Roosevelt, Laura Linney as Margaret Stuckey plus Samuel West and Oliva Colman as the king and queen. The story of the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin Margaret Stuckley, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited upstate New York.  The tagline explains it all… The President. The First Lady. The King. The Queen. The Mother. The Mistress…One weekend would unite two great nations…After cocktails of course.

The trailer for this film looks fantastic.  This movie is about the forbidden love between 3 people and the bond that was made in one weekend, between two countries.  Based on true events, this should be interesting.  Check out the trailer below:
