Sweetie Pies returned for a new season this past weekend and we are loving every minute of the family favorite! It’s time for the holidays!! My favorite time of the year. And the loveable family from OWN’s, Welcome to Sweetie Pies is getting our bellies ready for some seriously delicious food! The matriarch of the family, Miss Robbie penned an incredible cookbook filled with recipes passed down from generation to generation. Of course you can get many of these dishes at one of the 5 Sweetie Pies locations in St. Louis and Los Angeles, but now you can make them yourself! We’re talking yeast rolls, fried chicken, catfish, barbecue, collard greens, cornbread, hot cross buns, yellow cake, macaroni and cheese and so much more. I’m drooling. And yes, I have already made a few of these recipes in my own kitchen, so I stand by my word, this book is the best gift idea ever.
During my 3 part interview with the co-owner of Sweetie Pies, Tim Norman, we had a little fun with some of his favorite food items.
