Exclusive Interview: The Basketball Wives L.A. Cast Say Draya, Malaysia, Stevie J, Peter Gunz & More Are BUSTED! Funny Interview
*Update: Scroll to the bottom for Draya’s Response!
Basketball Wives L.A. Season 3 premiered Monday night on VH1! Jackie Christie, Draya Michelle and Malaysia are back, but new cast members Sundy Carter and Brittish Williams are new and ready to cause trouble. You know VH1 reality shows promote ratchet behavior and this show is no different. The ladies are bringing the drama and fans are tuning in.
I sat down with Jackie Christie, Sundy Carter and Brittish Williams to discuss this seasons shenanigans and their reasons for doing the show. But, it wouldn’t be a true CNikky interview without a little fun! We played a game called ‘Baller or Busted,’ and the ladies were asked to rate some of their cast mates and celebrities from reality tv and basketball. One thing was evidently clear….these ladies are not fans of Draya Michelle or Malaysia! Clearly there is some serious drama between the ladies this season! In addition to going in on Draya and Malaysia we also discussed Love and Hip Hop’s Stevie J, Peter Gunz and Jocelyn Hernandez. Basketball Wives Stars Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie O’Neal, Laura and Gloria Govan and many more. Sundy Carter was extremely opinionated and pure comedy!
At one point she did an impression of the infamous star of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, Stevie J! Sundy didn’t hold back on Stevie, Peter Gunz, Laura Govan and more. She had A LOT to say about Draya Michele and it was not good!
“I feel like she’s faking it until she makes it because everything she does is just so, not authentic. It’s just not real. You know, she portrays things like, you’re the ambassador of this that and the third, when you’re not even getting a check…I know the ambassador for these companies you understand what I’m saying? You don’t get a check for that. Um, so until you do, I need you to post your pay stub and show me. Show me, show me the money! You know? So, I feel like BUSTED. Because I don’t knock anybody’s hustle either. You know, I get the fact that she’s an ex-stripper and you know she had to be on all fours and beg for ones and that sort of thing. But, moving right along in her faking it until she makes it and coming into the season of Basketball Wives, and how she came on which I believe as and actress? Which never went anywhere. But, um I don’t know where that storyline went? But, um that’s another thing. A fake it till you make it type situation. So, it’s kinda of like, it’s a busted situation all around the board. I mean, I don’t condone living off of other men and you know that sort of thing. I just don’t know? I’m gonna leave it right there because I don’t want to sound like a hater because I don’t want to knock anybody’s hustle. If that’s your hustle to live off your man, do that. But, I would prefer to get my own. “
Damn Homie! It’s clear that these ladies are not fans of Draya. When I asked about their cast mate Malaysia, Jackie Christie said:
“Malaysia is BALLING and the reason I say this (cough) choking on my words is because, she’s able to fool people all the time into thinking she’s nice when she’s really not. And she’s making a profit so I’ll say she’s balling. “
And while Jackie Christie seems to be on decent terms with former cast members Laura and Gloria Govan, Sundy Carter, clearly thinks Laura is BUSTED!
“Well, I mean, the day your electric gets cut off and things like that happen from your babies dad. You know, if you’re not married after 5 kids I say BUSTED. As far as Gloria, I really don’t have an opinion, I just say mediocre. I won’t say busted or baller. I really don’t know her situation so I’ll just say mediocre.”
