Star Trek Into Darkness Is in theatres Now! Dare I Say….It is even better than the first Star Trek Film. I suggest you see it in IMAX 3D. The visuals are stunning, it’s action packed and this time, the men can bring their ladies, because Zoe Saldana (Uhura) and Zachary Quinto (Spock) are bringing the romance and the conflict that goes along with their complicated relationship. Cherise Nicole (CNikky) and our associates EURweb sat down to speak with Zoe Saldana about the complications of her relationship with Spock and advice that her character would give Zoe on relationships. In addition to the film, we also discussed her recent magazine cover and if being on the “Most Beautiful” people list validates her.
Do You Feel Validated By Being On The Cover Of Magazines:
“Obviously, you can always pin point something you don’t like about yourself. But if you focus on the things that really do work and try to find beauty and I guess make peace with what you have and make the best of it, you really learn to enjoy yourself and feel very very beautiful and you stop looking to your left and to your right and stop comparing yourself, you begin to be, you start being a much happier person. Especially for women, I feel like it’s very important. You know we live in a society where we’re still inspired and encouraged to compete against each other, when in reality if all women stood together, we would be a force to really be reckoned with and we would intimidate a lot of species on this earth. So. it’s about not expecting someone to give us a power that we already own, it’s just about us realizing that we have it in us and we just need to unite and love each other and love us all together, I think it’s very important.”
What Advice Would Uhura Give Zoe Saldana:
“Captain Kirk and Spock have the same kind of conflict that Uhura’s having with Spock and it’s just, Dude Chill, Feel! Don’t think so much, just feel. [Is That what she would tell you?] I think so! [Don’t Think Girl!] Just feel.”
