CNikky ran into our friend Dre aka ‘Soulja Boy’ from Love and Hip Hop Hollywood at the premiere of BET’s new show Music Moguls and he gave us the scoop on his latest acquisition. While he is coming back for season 3 of Love and Hip Hop and he is still in a relationship with Nia Riley, we were more interested in the rumored 4oo million dollar deal he reportedly made recently. The rumor mill both confirmed and denied that this deal was real, but we went straight to the source.
Is it true that you’re making major moves and big business deals?
“We just staying focused, man. We staying business minded. Making moves outside of music, that what it is. Ya’ll going to be seeing a lot of me in the media as far as the deals and making big moves. I gotta always put myself in a position even outside of music, you know what I’m saying? It’s just being a young mogul and CEO that’s all.”
Is it correct that you made a $400 million dollar deal?
“Yeah. $400 million.”
How did you make a deal that big?
“Just being at the right place at the right time! Just doing the right thing. Making the right moves. Just having an open mind when everybody come to you with different offers and stuff. You just gotta be on top of your game in this industry. And especially being out here in Hollywood, you’re gonna meet so many different people that can bring different opportunities to you.”
What kind of deal did you make?
“It’s casinos. I’m the youngest owner of a casino and we got a video game coming out too called ‘Celebrity World,’ that’s about to be real big. So, ya’ll get ready for that man!”
Congratulations Dre! We’re so proud of you! Love and Hip Hop Hollywood returns for season 3 this fall on VH1!
