Beyonce’ & Nicki Minaj Address The Elevator Incident In The Re-Mix To ‘Flawless’ & Lil Kim Claps Back At Nicki Minaj
King Bey and Nicki Minaj finally teamed up and the lucky track is the female anthem “Flawless!” Everyone around the world has been saying, “I woke up like dis!!’ And now, we have an extended version of the song, with TWO of baddest chicks in the game. Beyonce’ addresses the famous elevator incident and the “THOTS” that have nothing but negativive things to say about her.
“These THOTS can’t clock me nowadays…”
And yes, she even addressed Elevatorgate…with zero apologies:
“And we could go around and get some good karma, but no.
We escalatin’, up in this b***h like elevators. Of course sometimes s**t goes down when it’s a billion dollars on an elevator.”
That last line she repeated twice to make sure y’all heard it. She wrapped up her bars saying:
“You wish I was your poundcake…You wish I was your baby mama.”
“Say what you want I’m the sh*t….I want everybody to feel like this tonight.”
As usual, Beyonce is mixing tough words that many may take as strikes at other women…all while uplifting others by saying they should feel the same way about themselves.
With Bey interrupting about “thirsty b*tches”, Nicki spits some bars about why she believes she’s the queen of the rap game, why she and Bey are “every hood n*gga’s dream” and her usual raunchy lyrics about her “cookie” being top notch. :
“Yo, like MJ doctor, they killing me/Propofol/I know they hope I fall/But tell ’em winning is my motherf*ckin protocol/ Cause I score before I ever throw the ball These bitches washed up and aint no soap involved…”
We wouldn’t be surprised if that last line was a subtle shot at Remy Ma…since folks like to reference soap when talking about folks who are locked up.
Southern belle Bey also included a sample of Outkast‘s “SpottieOttieDopaliscious” on the horn riff. Peep the remix below:
Nicki called in to DJ Ebro at Hot 97 to speak about collaborating with Beyonce.
“I was actually in New York writing the verse. I recorded the verse in New York and she stopped by the studio and she was such a sweetheart. She was hyping me up like ‘yea do yo thang, don’t hold back go in.’ And I said ‘Ok…alright.’ And then just been waiting on her to drop it. She told me that she would drop it sometime while she was in the middle of the tour because I wrote the verse before she even went on tour and umm…that’s basically how that happened. We just been going back and forth. I’ve been sending her pictures of myself and we’ve been going back and forth about the mixes and the single art and now here you have it.”
Only weeks after giving birth to her baby girl, Lil Kim is back in the studio and although many women say giving birth to a baby girl gives you more of a sense of camaraderie with other women, clearly that did not work for Kim. She is exploiting her longtime beef with Nicki Minaj, by doing her version of the re-mix of Flawless. She replaced Nicki’s rhymes with her own, right after Nicki says the line that SHE is the Queen. She also replaced Nicki’s face with her own on the cover art.
On Kimmy’s version, she spits
“UGH! Am I trippin’ or did this hoe just say my name?/Queen of rap, f*ck outta here/ Queen’s back, f*ck outta here/Time to get this rap bitch up outta here”
“Look at this sh*t/still got my dick on her lips/I aim to stunt on a b*tch/Damn it’s a shame/I gave you the rope/b*tch I want you to hang”
Is it just me….or are you also, SO over this silly beef?
