It's Awards season and there is one man and one film that has been snubbed in every awards show and I think it's tragic. Nate Parker is one of our finest actors and activist. And his directorial debut with Birth of a Nation was arguably this years best picture. But, because of his past arrest and acquittal for rape 19 years ago, he and this great film were purposely overlooked during awards season.
